FADING SONGS FROM THE WOOD

October 19–November 15, 2013

Loyal is pleased to present Fading Songs from the Wood with German painter Till Gerhard. This is Gerhard’s second solo exhibition with Loyal.

Leave the window open when you go, bring a blanket don’t you know. Till Gerhard goes on a quest, seeking high and low in the highlands and lowlands, asking for us the question: why do people relate and why are we detached? Back in his studio in Hamburg he answers it in 8 new ways.

Till Gerhard (1971, Hamburg, Germany) lives and works in Hamburg. He studied painting at Muthesius Hochschule fur Kunst, Kiel and the Hochschule fur angewandte Wissenschaften, FB Gestaltung, Hamburg.
