Henry Gunderson

Henry Gunderson (born 1990, San Francisco, CA) is an American artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Gunderson received his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Gunderson has had solo exhibitions at LOYAL Gallery, Stockholm; 247365, New York; Ever Gold Gallery, San Francisco. He has also exhibited in group shows at Regina Rex, New York; Jessica Silverman, San Francisco; LOYAL, Stockholm among others. Gunderson also runs the net-based art gallery, The Water McBeer Gallery and has been part of Hans Ulrich Obrist’s 89plus Colony since 2013. Gunderson was recently included in the exhibition “Pharmacy for Idiots” at Rob Tufnell, Cologne in association with Tanya Leighton including Will Benedict, Ann Craven, William Daniels, Henry Gunderson, Van Hanos, Tom Humphreys, Allison Katz, Edward Kay, Bernadette Kerrigan, Ansel Krut, Orion Martin, Alan Michael, Pentti Monkkonen, Markus Oehlen, Autumn Ramsey, Allan Rand, Emily Mae Smith, Josh Smith, Issy Wood.
